Jay Trautman, PhD
President & CEO, Co-Founder
Jay is an experienced entrepreneur and executive in the life-science and pharmaceutical industries. Jay started his career at Bell Labs and was an executive at Cytokinetics (CYTK). He co-founded Praelux (acquired by Amersham/GE) and Vedere Bio (acquired by Novartis). He earned his PhD in Chemistry from Cornell University.
Chris Freudiger, PhD
Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder
Chris is an accomplished spectroscopist and the co-inventor of Stimulated Raman Scattering microscopy. He co-founded Invenio and has led the development and commercialization of the NIO® Imaging System. He enjoys working with customers to improve our products and develop new applications of technology that can positively impact the treatment of patients and reduce healthcare costs. Chris grew up in Germany and came to the United States on a Fulbright Fellowship to obtain his PhD in Physics from Harvard University.
Steven Pastore, MD
VP of Clinical Affairs
Steven serves as Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Invenio Imaging. After training in pathology during medical school and residency at Northwell Health, he joined Invenio to further explore his interests in digital pathology and artificial intelligence. He currently functions as Invenio's in-house expert in SRH image analysis by educating new clinical users and supporting experts in the field on advanced research projects. He earned his medical degree at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University.
Taren Nguyen, MS
VP of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
Taren has two decades of experience as a medical device executive with diverse regulatory approvals for Class II & III medical devices at Incyte, Roche & Sanmina. He has specialized in IVD/PCR diagnostics, MRI/CT, surgical robotics, lasers, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), portable AI/ML ultrasound, & AI/ML Point of Care (POC) diagnostics. He has designed world-class Quality Management Systems (QMS) and lean CGXP for compliance with FDA, EU, CA, AU regulations, and ISO 13485 standard. He is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lead Auditor. Taren earned his BA in Biochemistry from Cal State University, East Bay, and a MS in Management Information System from DeVry University.
Peijun Cong, PhD
Director of Laser Engineering
Peijun Cong specializes in lasers and spectroscopy. Prior to Invenio Imaging he held various technical and management positions at Symyx Technologies, Accelergy Corporation, Bayspec Inc., Lighthouse Photonics, and Precise Light Surgical. He earned his PhD in Chemical Physics from Caltech.
